Scheduled Maintenance Report for Network & Infrastructure
Completed
A reboot is required on this equipment to apply
carving policy. Database, hardware resources will be
segmented in a manner for optimization according to our usage. With the customization of hardware profiles, we will get
full use of the switches.

Maintenance will be held tonight starting at 11:30 PM.

Update(s):

Date: 2015-01-09 04:21:10 UTC
The operation is complete. We have corrected some differences in configurations on ports.

Date: 2015-01-09 04:19:40 UTC
The second switch rebooted properly.

Date: 2015-01-09 04:19:22 UTC
The reboot was performed without incidents.
We are moving to the second switch.

Date: 2015-01-09 04:18:56 UTC
We are rebooting sbg2-12a-n6.

Date: 2015-01-09 04:18:42 UTC
The reboot was performed without incidents. Four machines have had a cut-off for a few seconds, one of them a few minutes. The second switch gradually resumes charging and it does not accept configurations that we set.

Date: 2015-01-09 04:17:12 UTC
We rebooted the second switch.

Date: 2015-01-09 04:16:58 UTC
We started the operation with a shut/no shut for some ports.

Date: 2015-01-08 10:02:37 UTC
After investigation, even though the speed on the interfaces is correct, the protocol is continuing to have problems in communication.

The port speeds are of type 1, this is to say that if there is a cut there will be a loss in redundancy.

A shut/no shut (an operation that takes around 2 seconds) will be necessary to put back in place all the information to reestablish perfect redundancy.

Date: 2015-01-08 06:26:53 UTC
We stopped this maintenance for the moment. We'll dig tomorrow to understand and find the source of this behaviour.

Date: 2015-01-08 06:25:50 UTC
