We have an incident on our links ParisGS to Roubaix and Strasbourg. The cut-off is between Clichy and Tremblay. All circuits are switched on protections.

One of the fibers on the link SBG <> GSW was not useable probably due to faults in welds during repairs of the cable. We switched the link on this section to another of the same pay which allowed us to gain 13dB and return to optical levels before the cut-off. The link is back in production.

Repairs are completed. Circuits RBX<>GSW are operational as well as RBX<>SBG, however SBG<>GSW circuits are faulty in the direction Paris> Strasbourg. We will keep working on this problem.

The cut-off was caused by a vandalism act,it was located in the sewers in a difficult access area. Replacement by a new cable for the damaged section is in progress.
