We have detected a codec negotiation issue that may cause white noise or a faulty DTMF transmission in some cases.
We're working on a new codec negotiation system to resolve these issues.
A solution is currently being tested on outgoing calls on infrastructure C.

It has now been applied to infrastructure C.

For several weeks, we have been testing a new codec negotiation intelligence.
This new system corrects the issues with call transfers.
We are activating this new codec negotiation system for all new codec changes to \"G711, G729\" ou \"g722, g711, g729\" or \"G711\".
We remind you that a \"G711, G729\" configuration is preferable to \"G711\".

For some lines, malfunctions at call transfer level have appeared since this configuration was set up.
We're analysing the different issues encountered and we're backtracking with infrastructures A and B in the meantime.

We propagated a new configuration modification on infrastructures A and B, related to the negotiation of DTMF.
This configuration was established since several weeks on the infrastructure C.

The configurations have been deployed on infrastructures A and B.
We will activate these modifications on Monday May 5th at 10:00, for several hours, in order to validate the configuration.
If the observations and feedback are conclusive, we will activate this configuration again the next day, for a longer duration.

The test carried out on infrastructure C were conclusive so we are delpoying this configuration on infrastructures A and B.
No impact on calls in progress or in the future.
