Maintenance works will take place on the night of 3rd to 4th Feb in order to permanently repair an optic cable to Lille, which was damaged during the GC works on Roubaix a few months ago. At the time of switchover, our optic links to Paris TH2, London and Lille Euratechnologie will be interrupted for 30 mins to 1hr. No impact on traffic towards Paris and London as the links will automatically switch onto the protection system via the backup pathways. However, the Euratechno site will be isolated.

The maintenance has been put back to the night of Wednesday February 5th to Thursday 6th because the repairs at sea on our backup fibre between London and Amsterdam have been slightly delayed. They won't be finished until tomorrow daytime.
The works have been launched. The optic circuits to London and Paris TH2 swicthed correctly. The Lille Euratechnologie site has been isolated. The team is starting to work on the ground.
