We have a memory fragmentation issue on this router that can only be fixed only by rebooting it. The problem is preventing some functions from working (such as the display and the backup of configuration) but it is not affecting the traffic.
We have planned urgent maintenance works to fix it tonight (9th to 10th Oct) starting at 11:30pm.
Summary of the process:
- Switching traffic to the other router of the pair, rbx-s5-6k
- Isolation of the router from the rest of the network
- Reload
- Resume the router online without customer traffic
- Synchronisation of the configuration
- Check
- Resume traffic for customers.
