Between 9:21 and 9:36 CET (8:21 and 8:36 UTC), public routing for the whole OVH backbone has been impacted by a BGP misconfiguration performed by a script on one router in Strasbourg. After configuration rollback, trafic has been restored.
All destinations network included in the range 64.0.0.0 - 127.255.255.255 were impacted by the misconfiguration.
We are currently patching the involved script and preparing a post-mortem in order to add new protections mechanism on the infrastructure itself against such bad configurations.
